Italian Restaurant Located In A Sea Cave

Photobucket

Italy is full of beautiful architecture and amazing landscapes that you might not have time to see if there for a short. Well this restaurant located in a cave on the coast of Southern Italy, might have just made my list of things to see and places to go to when visiting Italy. The cave have been transformed into an exclusive hotel featuring an Italian restaurant located below ground in "The Summer Cave" (it's only open in the summer) while the 25 room hotel resides on the cliff tops, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and the old town of Polignano o Mare. The restaurant was voted as one of the most romantic restaurants in the world by the Fodor travel guide. The rates on the rooms start at approximately $125 a night for a single bed but if you would like to get in contact with the hotel/restaurant yourself, you can visit them at Grotta Palazzese.
