Hanging out with a friend while grabbing a bite to eat we started talking about high end fashion in Paris and women's couture when she told me about Celine, a French luxury house founded in 1945 by Céline Vipiana and purchased by LVHM, in July 1988 for $540 million. Once home I got online and did some research on them. Interestingly enough the brand has had creative directors such as Michael Kors, Phoebe Philo (former the designer for Chloe).
